I don't want to be the-me-that-I-could-be-in-only-7-simple-steps-if-only-i-subscribed-to-that-shit-and-bought-the-up-and-coming-ebook.

I don't want to be fitter, happier and more productive like Radiohead's Pig.

I try so hard to be happy all the time, and fail abysmally.
Well, maybe I'm not meant to be happy all the time - after all if ignorance is bliss then happiness is downright irresponsible!

Will I teach my daughter to be an unrippled, shallow (albeit invitingly pretty) mill pond, or do I incite her to foam, rail and crash against the constricting shores of 'the human condition' whatever that may mean...

So ring out the old plans and schedules for serene and simple existence, and ring in the new fly-by-the-pants, heart-driven life of freedom.  Let the Holy Spirit plunge me into the depths of the ever-present Now.

That I may have life, and have it to the full.
